Take the D.E.A.R. Pledge
In honor of Beverly Cleary's birthday, April 12th is Drop Everything and Read day. Here at the library, staff will drop everything to read from 11:00-11:15 and 3:15-3:30. We'd love to have you read with us here at the library, or you can sign a pledge to read 30 minutes on your own any time, anywhere, with anybody. Pledge sheets await you at the Circulation Desk.

It's a Leprechaun Take 'n Make in March
Children of all ages are invited to stop by the library March 13 - 17 to pick up a Lenny the Leprechaun craft kit. Once home, put Lenny together and ask him to take you to his gold!

Bridge to Terabithia Now in Theaters
Katherine Paterson's Newbery Award winning novel, Bridge to Terabithia, has once again been adapted for the big screen and is now showing in area theaters. If you're wondering whether or not the movie stays true to the book, School Library Journal says "the script smartly follows the book's narrative," and the comments I've read from movie-goers back them up.
